Terms of Service

By accessing, purchasing, downloading, or using Subflow, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Subflow.

Subflow is an Adobe After Effects plugin that automatically generates captions from audio and video using AI-powered speech-to-text transcription.

• Requires a compatible version of Adobe After Effects.
• Transcription features require an active internet connection.
• Transcription is powered by Deepgram Nova-3, a third-party speech-to-text service.
• Transcription accuracy may vary depending on audio quality, language, accents, overlapping speech, and third-party service performance.
• Subflow is not affiliated with Adobe Inc. or Deepgram, Inc.

Subflow grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the plugin for lawful business or personal use.

Device limit. Each license may be activated on a maximum of 2 devices simultaneously. You can move your license between devices at any time from within the plugin by deactivating one device and activating another. If you need help moving your license, contact [email protected].

Monthly transcription allowance. Each subscription plan includes a monthly minute allowance, reset on the first day of every calendar month (UTC):

• Monthly plan — 240 minutes of transcription per calendar month
• Annual plan — 180 minutes of transcription per calendar month

Unused minutes do not roll over to the next month. If you exceed your monthly allowance, new transcription requests will be paused until the next month begins. The plugin will notify you when you reach the limit.

You may not:

• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the plugin
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Share your license key or account access with others
• Use the plugin for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
• Submit audio or video content that you do not have the legal right to transcribe

Your order is processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record (MoR). As Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments:

• Is the legal seller on every transaction
• Calculates, collects, files, and remits all applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) in your jurisdiction
• Handles all payment processing, billing, and chargeback disputes
• Issues receipts and invoices on behalf of Subflow

Subflow is sold exclusively as a recurring subscription (monthly or annual). All prices and applicable taxes are displayed at checkout before purchase.

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel. By completing checkout, you authorize Dodo Payments to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Billing inquiries, receipt issues, and tax-related questions are handled by Dodo Payments buyer support through the links provided in your purchase confirmation email. For product support, contact [email protected].

You can cancel future renewals at any time:

• Through the billing portal link provided in your purchase confirmation email
• By contacting [email protected] — we will process your cancellation through Dodo Payments

Cancellation prevents future charges but does not retroactively cancel the current paid billing period. Your access remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, unless a refund has been issued under the Refund Policy.

Subflow offers a limited money-back guarantee on new purchases, scaled to how much you have used the product:

• Within 7 days of purchase, with zero transcription minutes used — you are entitled to a full refund.
• Within 30 days of purchase, with 10 minutes or less of transcription used — you are entitled to a full refund.
• Outside of these windows or after substantial usage — refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be refused.

Refund requests are processed by Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record, but the refund decision is made by Subflow according to our Refund Policy. Statutory consumer rights under applicable law are not affected by this policy.

Subflow — including its source code, branding, website content, documentation, and all related assets — is owned by Vladislav Baranov, Individual Entrepreneur registered in Georgia, and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works of any part of our software or included content, nor attempt to extract the source code.

Subflow collects your email address for checkout, license delivery, billing communication, and customer support. Audio extracted from your After Effects compositions is transmitted to Deepgram Nova-3 solely for the purpose of generating captions and is not permanently stored on Subflow's servers.

Subflow is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• 100% accurate transcription (accuracy depends on audio quality and third-party AI services)
• Compatibility with all workflows, systems, or future versions of Adobe After Effects
• That the service will meet your specific requirements

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vladislav Baranov and Subflow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
• Business interruption
• Computer failure or malfunction
• Any damages arising from use or inability to use the service

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Subflow is limited to the amount you paid for the product in the prior 12 months.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including statutory consumer rights.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Georgia (the country), without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of Subflow shall be resolved in the competent courts of Georgia.

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, the mandatory provisions of your local law apply in addition to this choice of law.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date, and where required by law, existing subscribers will be notified by email.

Your continued use of Subflow after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
